So, one day kallie elizabeth johnson took a little journey down to the 801. on Halloween weekend. which happened to be the University of Utah football game. that was a blackout game. so kourtney, kallie and allie decided to dress all emo and support our utah utes! w


we met some wonderful characters. like gumbi, a guy with really spikey hair and the gingerbread man.

Goodbye Brandon!

Kal and I finally had to say goodbye to my brother, and her best friend at the end of July. We don't really know what we will do without Brandy...I mean Brandon, but hey, we'll live. But don't worry, we definitely lived it up during his last week! His grandma either though he has a lot of girlfriends, or that he's gay. We haven't figured out which one yet, but either way she just judged us. After going to all the family goodbye parties, we took this picture just before he was set apart. Right then his dad walked by and said "if I was going into the desert, I'd take a big drink too." and that was it! He left us. Then while he was being set apart, Kal finally answered him to morp: the dance they went to together senior year that she never officially answered him to.

MANTI

So this one weekend we decided to randomly drive to Manti, because we love that place. So we just stocked up on peanut butter m&m's, and pretzel sticks, and off we went! Since there really isn't anything to do in Manti, we walked around...played some frisbee, and ate. But it was so fun! Then Sami convinced Kathleen that he was an exchange student from Saudi Arabia. And she believed him.

The Jetty!! Kinda...

well...it's been a while, but it's time for some updates on our summer!! So this one time, Kal, Abby, and I decided to go find the spiral jetty, which is this swirly thing on like the opposite side of the great salt lake, so waaaay out in the boonies. Anyway. we took the wrong dirt road, and it just led us to this creepy abandoned farm land where the cows roam free and the only things you can hear are bugs flying around. So, naturally we just took pictures and went home. best day ever.

It Is Your Birthday.

Once upon a time Abby turned 19! So Kourt, Allie and Kallie decided to take her to dinner and make her a cake. We went to noodles and company and had a lovely meal. Allie was so nice to make Abby a birthday cake. Except she wanted to do a fat-free one (because we are all suppose to be off sugar...) so she searched the internet for a recipe. Well she found one, but it did not have eggs, or flour in it. But she made it anyway. So after dinner we went to eat the cake, but did not have utinsils so we used chop sticks (hence the lovely picture.) Well the cake turned out to be just nasty. see the picture. it did not rise at all. At least the frosting was good.

So a few weeks ago Allie and I drove up to Idaho to visit Kal, it was really fun...and cold...ANYWAY one night we were sitting there painting our fingernails the same color, and Kal and I realized we were dressed like exactly the same without even trying! It was crazy!

On New Years we went to a party at the University of Utah Institute. Seriously, it was hoppin. there were bucket loads of people. So we ran around with the high school people a little, and our good friend Brandon HURT HIS ANKLE!!! we don't really know how, but this beautiful picture is us "taking care" of Brandon. We were a huge help to him in this time of need.

A Great Family Outing

So, on Presidents Day the girls go together for a little breakfast outing. Well we decided that to end the adventure we would take a cute little family picture. please note that Kallie would be the proud father, Kourtney would be the mom, Allie would be the eight year old that cant stop laughing at the bird behind the camera, and Abby would be the 14 year old rebel without a cause. Ya, we make a pretty sweet fam.

So in case you can't tell, this is Kal and me. This one night we were both really bored, and ugly looking, so we decided to get together and look ugly together! Kallie is wearing all of her little brothers' clothes, and I think I'm wearing one of their jerseys...clearly we are pretty mature...

Well, Kourt and I had the awesome opportunity to dress up for Halloween! We dressed up like fairies and princesses! then we went to the Gateway, and attended the U's institute dance! Pretty much the best night of my life!

Anthropology!!

So this is the first time Kal and I ever hung out. She drove Allie and me to Gateway, and almost killed us when she went over a curb while getting on the freeway. Those near-death experiences really bring you together ya know? So then we went into Anthropology, our favorite store that we can't afford, and took pictures and pretended we had money. So as you can see, not much has changed about us since then. That is all.

Tree Huggers

Well, Kourt finally decided to come to Idaho and visit me at school! It was such an amazing weekend! we ate food, cooked food, listened to music, walked around and... kissed stuff. Like trees.

One time in Michigan, Kallie and I decided to do each others hair, so she tried to braid mine...but my hair is so thin that it only took like..3...braids to hold all my hair, so that was kind of a bummer. but then I wanted to give Kal a fro....but it ended up just looking like kramer from Seinfeld...it really scared me when I woke up next to her and she looked like that....

MATH CLASS!!!

Well, Kourtney and I became friends in a math class during high school. Seriously. We spent so much time socializing that we failed out of the class. Kind of embarrassing.

This one time we decided to go to Chicago, pretty much because we thought we were gangsta's and wanted to live it up in the great city of wind. So we went to the cheesecake factory and it was amazing! man did they have some amazing cheesecake there....and pretty cool bathrooms...I think we shared a pizza but they didn't put tomatoes on it because they thought we would get ecoli, psshh ecoli is for the weak! uhhhh yeaahh...

Graduation-one of the biggest days of our lives!!!!!

Well, this one time, Kourtney and I graduated from high school. You would think that we would look smarter, but sadly, we look pretty stupid.

Anyways, during the ceremony, some crazy chick was giving a speech and she said that everyone was evil and that are teachers sucks etc. It was pretty exciting. To make things even more thrilling, we were sitting behind a girl who had a rat tail, and were tempted to cut it off. But I didn't have my pocket knife so that was a bummer. Also i had long hair.

DAVID ARCHULETA!!

Well Kal and I really like David Archuleta ...(and David Cook) and so this one time we heard he was coming to sing at good ol' Murray High, so we decided to go see him. Needless to say he was amazing, and we kind of stalked him to....but we did get a pretty sweet picture of him!! So he may think we are creepy now, but it's totally worth it!

Kourtney and Taylor

Well, this is our good friend Kourtney and her ex-fiance, Taylor Smith. They met during high school. Her sister set her up on a blind date, with Taylor's best friend, Brian. Taylor was with a different chick, but he had his eye on Kourtney the whole time! Infact, they ditched their lame-o dates and went and gazed at the stars at Churchill. From then on they were in love! He would bring her chocolate on her bad days, and she would bake him cookies after a long day at work. One fine day, he recieved his mission call to New York, New York North mission. While he was out serving the lord, she spent her days in high school. Taylor returned in early February of 2008 and they were engaged by the end of March. But sad to say, Taylor was planning on attending the University of Hawaii in the fall. And Kourtney did not feel ready to move that far away from home. So, for the time being, the engagement is off. But they are still "really good friends."

Well this all started with a crazy idea to go up the canyon and have a nice big fire. Only once we got up there we realized that we don't know how to make a fire, so this picture is really the biggest the fire ever got, it pretty much went out for the rest of the night. But anywho, we ate a lot of candy that night...and then we got bored and went and drove through a cemetary and it freaked Allie out. I think we saw a black cat too...

um. ya. well this one time, we wanted to see what Kourtney would look like with Kallie's black people hair. Pretty dang good if I do say so myself. that is all.
